Exceptionally Good Value — Gas Hardware, Installation & Service
Being a small firm with a limited marketing budget, we have little option but to offer the best value for money we can — since the majority of our work still comes from ‘word of mouth’ referrals.
But experience has taught us that many of our ‘big name’ competitors in the gas service and installation market are seriously padding their charges, presumably to cover their huge administrative overheads — and they continue to overcharge, even in these difficult economic times.
Which means that we can offer you very significant discounts on their costs, while still earning an acceptable living for ourselves.
And, what’s more, we may well be able to offer you a bespoke solution at off-the-shelf prices.
Gas Boilers & Heating — Advice and Design
Sometimes you know that all you need is a replacement gas boiler, gas fire, gas cooker, or radiator and if that’s the case we won’t try to sell you anything more — but we will offer you a competitive quote for supplying the equipment and installing it for you.
And we will properly survey your existing gas installations to ensure that the new equipment can be safely installed without any risk to yourselves, to your comfort or to your property.
If, on the other hand, you are unsure of how to fix a gas problem, upgrade a gas system or install a new gas central heating system, we can provide free technical advice about how to tackle your project — starting with a basic assessment of your needs and a rough estimate of likely costs.
Should you wish to go ahead with one of the range of options we are likely to offer, we can help you design and manage the entire project from start to finish.
Customised and Tailored Gas Systems
Our Leeds-Bradford based gas engineers are not mere ‘gas fitters’. While they will be happy to simply install and plumb in gas equipment, they can do a lot more than that
So, if the best solution for you is a bespoke or customised system, they can help you to put one together — including designing and building all the elements of the installation that fall outside a gas fitter’s traditional skillset.
For example, very often gas installations empinge upon a home’s water and electrical systems, and sometimes even its structure.
In such circumstances you need an individual or a team which can tailor all the domestic systems in one go — so that they are all adjusted simultaneously and harmoniously, and you don’t have to wait while different trade specialists negotiate their way around one another.
Quality Workmanship and Finish
Very often a gas engineer’s work is hidden behind metal panels, wood cabinets, and plasterboard boxing-in, but both the unseen work and the visible finishing should be of the highest quality.
Our gas specialists understand that it’s not just the technical quality that matters. They appreciate that finishes which are ugly, space-hogging, or difficult to clean and maintain can really diminish a customer’s quality of life.
So when we come into your house to fit or test a gas appliance, we won’t merely put in quality pipework, radiators and boilers, etc., we’ll also keep the work clean as we go along and finish off properly before we leave. And that promise applies to any material, whether it’s copper pipes, granite/marble worktops, ceramics, wood, plaster, laminates or whatever.
After Sale Service, Warranty, and Guarantees
As you would expect from qualified Gas Safe engineers and fitters, all our work is supported by a full after sales service and warranty, so you can be assured that in the unlikely event that something does go wrong with that work, we will fix it at our own expense.
And because we are small, and local, you won’t have to wait forever for an appointment at a convenient time for you.
Moreover, we’re also happy to cover you for any gas systems’s we have tested and inspected — whether or not they were bought from us or installed by us. So contact us to find out more about our inspection and warranty options.
More Than Just The Boiler and the Plumbing
Sometimes a new or replacement gas appliance can be installed without much alteration to the surrounding services, furnishings, fittings or building structure.
But in most cases, the gas work has to be integrated with electric power and controls, and with the household water system.
And quite often it will need adjustments to things like boiler cabinets, kitchen cabinets and worktops, tiling, flooring, partition walls, etc.
In these situations the last thing a customer wants is to deal with is a host of different trades and crafts, each potentially getting in the way of the other, and each coming and going at times convenient to them.
So it’s convenient that NJS isn’t just a standalone gas fitting firm, but rather a full service, general building company — with many cross-trained staff (e.g. gas plumbers with electric and water specialisms as well as general building skills like woodworking, plastering, tiling, bricklaying, etc.
Which means that when you call us in, we can take full responsibility for ensuring that the whole job gets done on time, on budget and to the specification.
